Our Mission

Our mission is to provide age-appropriate learning for children from the ages of 2 ½ years to 5 years in a safe, happy, and nurturing environment.  We will help each child develop a positive self-concept, and become self-directing.  The total child will be educated through physical, social, creative, emotional and cognitive development, hands on experiences, and active learning.  Our commitment is always the happiness and well being of each child.

Around the School...

The children in Mrs. M's Pre-K class kicked off the school-wide focus on books by celebrating Curious George's birthday this past October.  Mrs. Hartelius' three-year-old class had a birthday party for Corduory.  

 

 Bright Start wrapped up 2011 with a building-wide reading of The Polar Express.  

 

 

The school has also been celebrating a different color every month.  The entire school recently dressed and decorated the building in orange.

 

 

Thanks for your support during our school fundraiser with Gertrude Hawk Chocolates.  Delivery will occur in mid-March, just in time for Easter and Passover! As always, our fundraising helps fund our "specials" - art, music, and dance programs.

 

In the next few weeks, information regarding September enrollment will be going home. Registration is always on a first come, first serve basis.  Spots are limited for the 2012-2013 school year.  Reserve your child's seat early!
