Our History
Ava and Nancy decided in the spring of 2008 to strike out on their own and create their very own preschool. Being late in the game, they worked long days developing their school. As they opened their doors for the very first time, they felt confident in the service they are providing the towns' children. The preschool has since grown, attracting students from all over Roseland, West Caldwell, Caldwell, Essex Fells, North Caldwell, Livingston, East Hanover, Florham Park, West Orange and beyond. In order to continue to provide the best possible preschool experience and expand their program offerings, they moved to Blessed Sacrament in Roseland, NJ.
The move has allowed Bright Start family the opportunity to continue to grow and flourish.
Our Preschool
Bright Start isn't just a name, it's a philosophy. We strive to give our students a bright start as they enter their school years. Our goal is to provide age-appropriate learning for children from the first year of life to six years in a safe, happy, and nurturing environment. We will help each child develop a positive self-concept, and become self-directing.
The total child will be educated through physical, social, creative, emotional and cognitive development, hands on experiences and active learning. Our commitment is always the happiness and well being of each child.
Our seven teachers have a combined ninety-seven years of experience creating and providing high quality learning experiences for our children.
